The Body Tree follows a group of six American friends who travel to Siberia to attend the funeral of their friend Janine, who was brutally murdered. Upon their arrival, they discover that their hosts, a group of mysterious Russians, are involved in the occult and are performing strange rituals in the woods. As they continue to investigate Janine's death, the friends begin to experience terrifying visions and hallucinations, and they realize that they are being lured into the dark world of the occult.
