The Bloody Judge follows Lord George Jeffreys as he presides over brutal trials and executions, including the infamous Bloody Assizes where hundreds of people were condemned to death for treason. However, Jeffreys' reign of terror is threatened when he falls in love with a beautiful young woman, named Mary Gray, who he believes to be a witch.
As Jeffreys becomes more obsessed with Mary, he becomes convinced that she is using her charms to manipulate him and plots to have her sentenced to death. Meanwhile, a group of rebels led by a man named William Kidd are planning to overthrow Jeffreys and put an end to his tyranny.
As tensions escalate between the rebels and Jeffreys' forces, Mary finds herself caught in the middle and must use all her cunning to survive. In the end, Jeffreys' reign of terror comes to a bloody and violent end as he is betrayed by those closest to him and sentenced to his own horrifying fate.
