The weekend getaway was supposed to be a time of reflection and celebration as the friends come together to commemorate a significant moment in Black history. However, the cabin they rented in the secluded woods of Texas turns out to be anything but peaceful. One by one, the group becomes the target of a sadistic killer who seems to be following them from the moment they arrived.
As they struggle to survive and make sense of what is happening, tensions rise as secrets are unearthed, and old wounds are reopened. Despite their efforts to work together, trust starts to erode, and the killer proves to be a formidable opponent, always one step ahead of their every move.
As the weekend wears on, the friends must confront their darkest fears and learn to rely on each other if they have any chance of making it out alive. With each passing moment, the question becomes not only who will make it out but also who among them is the killer.
