The Black Dahlia is a 2006 neo-noir crime thriller film directed by Brian De Palma, based on the novel of the same name by James Ellroy. The film stars Josh Hartnett as Bucky Bleichert, Scarlett Johansson as Kay Lake, Aaron Eckhart as Lee Blanchard, and Hilary Swank as Madeleine Linscott.
