The Big White is a 2005 dark comedy film directed by Mark Mylod and starring Robin Williams, Holly Hunter, Giovanni Ribisi, and Woody Harrelson. The film follows Paul Barnell (Robin Williams), a travel agent who lives in Fairbanks, Alaska, and is struggling with mounting debts. Paul comes across a frozen corpse in the wilderness, and he hatches a scheme to fake the man's death and collect the life insurance payout, which he hopes will solve his financial troubles.
However, things get complicated when two hitmen, played by Tim Blake Nelson and W. Earl Brown, show up looking for the frozen corpse. They've been hired by a wealthy businessman to retrieve his brother's body, which he needs for a proper burial. Meanwhile, Paul's mentally ill wife, Margaret (Holly Hunter), is being hounded by her ex-boyfriend, Ted (Giovanni Ribisi), who thinks Paul is hiding a large sum of money.
As the various characters' schemes and deceptions intersect and collide, things spiral out of control and the situation becomes increasingly chaotic and violent. The Big White is an offbeat and macabre comedy that explores themes of greed, desperation, and the lengths people will go to for money.
