The Big Trip follows Mik-Mik's adventure as he sets out to return Little Panda Bear to his parents in South China. Oscar the Hare is tied up and taken along with them, much to his annoyance. Mik-Mik is a stickler for punctuality and order, so he plans everything meticulously.
Along the way, they encounter several other animals who join them on their journey. Duke the Pelican is a talkative and boastful bird who loves to share stories about himself. Janus the Wolf is a cowardly creature who is easily frightened by danger. Cupid the Tiger is a hopeless romantic who believes in soulmates and true love.
As they journey deeper into the wilderness, they face numerous challenges and obstacles that test their resolve and courage. They confront a raging river, cross a treacherous bridge, and brave a fierce storm. But it is their encounters with humans and their domesticated animals that prove to be the most challenging.
Despite Mik-Mik's insistence on adhering to his strict schedule, the group starts to bond and form a close-knit family. They learn to rely on each other's strengths and overcome their individual weaknesses. By the time they arrive in South China, they have become a true team and have forged lifelong friendships that will never be forgotten. Finally, Little Panda Bear is reunited with his family, and everyone is filled with happiness and joy.
