The Big Bounce is a 2004 crime-comedy film directed by George Armitage and adapted from a novel of the same name by Elmore Leonard. The film stars Owen Wilson as Jack Ryan, a small-time thief who ends up in trouble with local gangster Ray Ritchie, played by Gary Sinise.

Jack escapes from Ritchie's thug Bob Jr. (Charlie Sheen) and travels to Hawaii, where he gets a job working for a corrupt real estate developer named Walter Crewes (Morgan Freeman). There, he meets the seductive and mischievous Nancy Hayes (Sara Foster), who is Crewes' mistress and also a con artist. Together, they hatch a plan to steal $200,000 from Crewes by manipulating his financial records.

However, things quickly go awry as their plan falls apart and they find themselves on the run from both Ritchie's men and Crewes' hired thugs. Along the way, Jack and Nancy engage in a steamy affair, and they soon realize that they may be in over their heads.

The Big Bounce received mixed reviews upon its release, with critics praising the chemistry between Wilson and Foster but criticizing the direction and script. Despite its flaws, the film has gained a cult following over the years, with many viewers appreciating its quirky humor and offbeat characters.
