The Bedroom Window is a 1987 thriller directed by Curtis Hanson and starring Steve Guttenberg, Isabelle Huppert, and Elizabeth McGovern. The film is based on the novel The Witnesses by Anne Holden.
Terry Lambert (Guttenberg) is a successful young man working for a prestigious architect firm. He is having an affair with Sylvia (Huppert), the wife of his boss, who he has grown to resent. One night, after having sex at Terry's apartment, they witness a man attacking a young woman named Denise (McGovern) on the street below. Terry immediately rushes to the victim's aid while Sylvia stays behind, trying to avoid being implicated in the scandal.
