The Banishing is a horror movie directed by Christopher Smith and written by David Beton, Ray Bogdanovich, and Dean Lines. The movie stars Jessica Brown Findlay, John Heffernan, and Sean Harris. The film is set in the 1930s and centers around a young reverend named Linus, his wife Marianne, and their daughter Adelaide.
