The Babymakers is a comedy film directed by Jay Chandrasekhar. The film revolves around a couple, Tommy and Audrey Macklin, who have been trying to conceive a child for several months. When they visit a doctor, they discover that Tommy has a low sperm count, which makes it difficult for them to have a baby.
Tommy soon realizes that the only way to impregnate his wife is to retrieve the deposits he made at the sperm bank years ago before he got a vasectomy. However, when he goes to retrieve his deposits, he discovers that the sperm bank has destroyed all of his samples except for one. Desperate to get the sample, he teams up with his friends to rob the sperm bank.
As they plan the heist, they run into various obstacles, including a security guard who is suspicious of their activity and Tommy's own fear of committing a crime. Meanwhile, Audrey becomes increasingly frustrated with their lack of progress in conceiving a child and starts to suspect that Tommy is hiding something from her.
Ultimately, Tommy and his friends successfully steal the remaining sample, but when they try to use it to impregnate Audrey, they discover that it has been damaged and can't be used. In the end, however, Audrey becomes pregnant after they have a spontaneous encounter in a park, and they are overjoyed to finally start a family.
