The Anomaly is a British science fiction action thriller film written and directed by Noel Clarke. The film revolves around Ryan Reeve (played by Ian Somerhalder), a former soldier who wakes up in the back of a van with no memory of how he got there. He soon discovers that he is being held hostage by a mysterious organization that has implanted a time bomb in his head, giving him only nine minutes and forty-seven seconds to figure out how he got there and why.
As Ryan tries to unravel the mystery and find out who is behind his abduction, he discovers that he has superhuman strength and agility and realizes that he is part of an experimental program to create soldiers with enhanced abilities. He also learns that he has been tasked with carrying out a mission, which he must complete before the time bomb in his head explodes.
With the clock ticking, Ryan must race against time to uncover the truth and complete his mission, while avoiding a team of trained assassins who are after him. Along the way, he forms an unlikely alliance with Dana (played by Alexis Knapp), a hacker who helps him navigate the complex network of his captors.
The film is a fast-paced thriller filled with intense action and suspense, as Ryan battles his way through a series of obstacles to uncover the truth and save his own life.
