The Adventures of Ford Fairlane is a 1990 action comedy film directed by Renny Harlin and starring Andrew Dice Clay as the titular character, Ford Fairlane. Fairlane is a rock n' roll detective who is hired by clients from the music industry to solve their problems. However, he soon finds himself in the middle of a dangerous investigation when his clients who were looking for a missing girl named Zuzu Petals start getting killed one by one.

Fairlane is a smooth-talker who is constantly surrounded by beautiful women, but he is also unconventional in his methods. He drives a flashy car and wears loud clothes, and his taste in music ranges from heavy metal to rap. The film takes place in Los Angeles and features a colorful cast of characters, including a record executive who is suspected of murder, a rival private investigator, and a crazy fan of Fairlane's who keeps showing up at his door.

As Fairlane delves deeper into the case, he uncovers a sinister plot involving corruption, drugs, and a secret sex club run by a wealthy businessman. His investigation leads him to confront some dangerous foes, but with the help of his loyal assistant, Jazz, he is able to uncover the truth and solve the case.

The film was not well received by critics and some considered it to be offensive, but it has since gained a cult following for its irreverent humor and over-the-top action scenes. It also features appearances by several notable musicians, including Vince Neil of Motley Crue and Sheila E.
