The 3 Worlds of Gulliver is a 1960 adventure film directed by Jack Sher and starring Kerwin Mathews as Doctor Gulliver. The film is loosely based on the novel Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift, but with significant changes to the plot and characters.

In the film, Doctor Gulliver is portrayed as a struggling inventor who dreams of making a fortune in India. His fiancée Elisabeth (played by Jo Morrow) is supportive but worried about his reckless behavior. Despite her warnings, Gulliver signs up for a job as a surgeon on a ship bound for India.

During a storm at sea, Gulliver is washed overboard and winds up on the island of Lilliput, which is inhabited by tiny people no larger than six inches tall. Gulliver is initially captured by the Lilliputians, but he manages to convince them that he means them no harm and becomes an honored guest. He uses his knowledge of science and technology to help the Lilliputians improve their lives and defeat their enemies.

However, Gulliver soon finds himself caught up in a conflict between Lilliput and their neighboring island of Blefuscu. The King of Lilliput (played by Lee Patterson) orders Gulliver to help him defeat the Blefuscans, who are also tiny people but are portrayed as more militaristic and aggressive. Gulliver is torn between his loyalty to the Lilliputians and his desire to find a way back to his own world.

After the conflict with Blefuscu is resolved, Gulliver is taken to another island inhabited by giants. Here he is captured and treated as a curiosity, but manages to escape and return to Lilliput. However, the experience of living among giants has made Gulliver realize how insignificant he is in the grand scheme of things, and he decides to stay on the island and continue his work with the Lilliputians.

The film was a commercial success and was praised for its imaginative special effects, which used a combination of live-action and animation to create the illusion of the tiny Lilliputians and the giant Brobdingnagians. However, some critics felt that the film strayed too far from the source material and lacked the satirical edge of Swift's original work.
