That's What I Am is a 2011 American drama film starring Ed Harris, Chase Ellison, and WWE wrestler Randy Orton. The movie is set in 1965 in California, where Andy Nichol (Chase Ellison) is a young boy at junior high school, trying to avoid bullies and fit in with the other kids.
Andy is a bright student who is paired up with his school's social outcast, Stanley (Alexander Walters), for a school project. Stanley is known for his odd behavior, and he is often the target of bullying by their classmates.
Despite his initial reluctance to be associated with Stanley, Andy grows to respect and appreciate him for who he is. The two boys develop a friendship that helps them both overcome the challenges they face at school and at home.
