That's My Boy Movie Summary

Daddy's Unexpected Wedding Crashers

Comedy  United States of America

Donny (played by Adam Sandler) is a reckless teenager who has sex with his teacher and becomes the father of a baby boy, Todd (played by Andy Samberg). Donny raises Todd as a single parent until he is 18 years old. During this time, Donny becomes a washed-up celebrity who falls into debt and legal trouble.

Years later, Todd is now a successful businessman who is engaged to Jamie (played by Leighton Meester). Just before the wedding, Donny reappears in Todd's life, looking for money to pay off his debts. Todd is hesitant to help his irresponsible father, but Donny claims that he needs the money to stay out of jail.

Donny tries to reconnect with Todd and be a part of his life again, but his erratic behavior and crude sense of humor embarrass Todd and Jamie. Meanwhile, Donny begins to bond with Todd's eccentric friends, including a stripper named Brie (played by Ciara).

As the wedding approaches, secrets are revealed and tensions rise between father and son. When Donny realizes that Todd's wealthy boss, Steve Spirou (played by Tony Orlando), is the same teacher who impregnated him years ago, he tries to blackmail him for money.

In the end, Todd and Donny come to a new understanding and reconcile their relationship. Todd decides to help Donny pay off his debts, and Donny becomes a better father figure to his son. The movie ends with a happy wedding, where Todd and Jamie exchange vows, and Donny sings a heartfelt song to his son.
