Tarzan and the Lost City is a 1998 action-adventure film directed by Carl Schenkel. The movie follows the story of Tarzan (played by Casper Van Dien), who leaves his comfortable life in England to return to his native land in Africa. Tarzan comes back to the jungle with his love interest, Jane (played by Jane March), to find that his home is under threat from a ruthless businessman named Nigel Ravens (played by Steven Waddington).
Ravens is intent on finding the legendary lost city of Opar, which is said to be filled with gold and other precious treasures. In his quest to find the lost city, Ravens orders his workers to destroy the jungle and its wildlife, causing Tarzan to take action to protect his home.
Tarzan, assisted by his animal friends and allies, embarks on a dangerous mission to stop Ravens from causing further destruction to the jungle. Along the way, Tarzan discovers the dark secrets of Opar and the truth about his own past.
