Aidan Breslin (Michael Biehn) is a retired MMA fighter who now owns a struggling karate school. When disgruntled teenager Michael Shaw (Cody Hackman) is sentenced to community service at the school after a brutal street fight, Aidan takes him under his wing and introduces him to the world of martial arts.
Meanwhile, Michael discovers that the man who killed his parents, Victor Abbott (Anderson Silva), is a champion MMA fighter who will be competing in an upcoming tournament. Despite Aidan's warnings, Michael decides to enter the tournament and seek revenge against Abbott.
As Michael trains and competes in the tournament, he begins to learn the true meaning of discipline and respect in the martial arts. With Aidan's guidance and support, he ultimately faces Abbott in a brutal and epic match that will determine the fate of both fighters.
