Tales of a Fifth Grade Robin Hood follows the story of Peter, a clever and resourceful fifth-grade student in an inner-city school. Peter and his classmates are struggling with outdated textbooks, limited classroom resources, and run-down facilities. When the students organize a fundraiser to save their school's library, they soon discover that the head of the school board, Mrs. Crandall, is embezzling funds from the school's budget to fund her lavish lifestyle.
Determined to make things right, Peter comes up with a plan to get the money back. Along with his group of fellow fifth-graders, they form a secret society inspired by Robin Hood and set out to steal from the rich and give to the poor. Their mission takes them on a wild adventure of breaking into Mrs. Crandall's mansion, dodging security guards and using their wits to outsmart the greedy head of the school board.
As the kids continue their Robin Hood-style heists, they begin to realize the power they have to create change and make a difference in their community. In the end, they succeed in getting back the stolen money and turning it into much-needed resources for their school.
