In the movie "Taking a Shot at Love", Jenna (played by Alexa PenaVega) is a former professional dancer who is now teaching ballet to children. When she meets Ryan (played by Luke Macfarlane), a hockey player who is recovering from an injury and struggling with his rehab, she offers to help him by incorporating ballet exercises into his training routine.
Although Ryan is initially resistant to the idea of ballet, he soon discovers that it is helping him to improve his balance, flexibility, and focus. As he spends more time with Jenna, he begins to develop feelings for her, but is hesitant to pursue a relationship because of his dedication to his career.
Meanwhile, Jenna is also dealing with her own personal struggles, including her fear of performing again and her complicated relationship with her ex-boyfriend. As they work together to overcome their challenges both on and off the ice, Ryan and Jenna begin to realize that they may have a chance at love, if they are willing to take a shot at it.
