Take Me Home Tonight is a comedy film released in 2011, directed by Michael Dowse and produced by Relativity Media. The movie is set in the 1980s and stars Topher Grace as Matt Franklin, a recent MIT graduate who has yet to figure out his life's direction. Matt works at Suncoast Video, where he's become a joke for his high school friends, who think he's wasting away his potential working at a video store instead of at a big tech firm.

When Matt's high school crush, Tori Frederking (Teresa Palmer), walks into the video store, he is instantly smitten. Tori invites him to a party in the hopes of rekindling their friendship from high school. Matt is hesitant to attend the party because he's afraid of what his high school friends will think of him working at a video store instead of having a "real" job.

With the help of his twin sister Wendy (Anna Faris) and his best friend Barry (Dan Fogler), Matt decides to attend the party. During the party, Matt, Wendy, and Barry get into all sorts of misadventures, including stolen cars, drugs, and party crashing. Meanwhile, Matt tries to win over Tori's heart, but it proves to be an uphill battle as he must compete with her arrogant ex-boyfriend (Chris Pratt) and make amends with his own insecurities.

Throughout the movie, Matt learns valuable life lessons about the importance of taking risks, following one's heart, and cherishing the friendships that matter the most. Take Me Home Tonight is a hilarious coming-of-age story that captures the essence of 1980s pop culture and the struggles of growing up in a fast-paced world.
