Take Me High is a 1973 British musical film directed by David Askey and starring Cliff Richard, Deborah Watling, and Hugh Griffith. The movie showcases the story of a young and successful financier named Tim, who is excited about his upcoming posting to New York. However, he is shocked when he is instead sent to Birmingham, a city that he had never heard of before.

Tim initially struggles to adjust to his new surroundings, which are vastly different from the fast-paced and glitzy lifestyle he is used to in London. He soon discovers a struggling restaurant called "The Brown Cow," run by a widow named Anna (Watling) and her son, who are in dire need of help. Inspired by his new surroundings, Tim decides to take matters into his own hands and turns the restaurant around with his innovative ideas.

He introduces a new fast food item called the "Brumburger," which becomes an instant hit with the locals. With Tim's guidance, the restaurant becomes successful and attracts the attention of a wealthy restaurant entrepreneur, who recruits Tim to work for his chain of restaurants in London.

Despite his new-found success, Tim realizes that he had found true happiness in Birmingham, and decides to return to run the Brown Cow restaurant with Anna and her son. The movie ends with Tim and Anna falling in love and living happily ever after.

Take Me High is an entertaining musical film with catchy songs and charming performances, especially by Cliff Richard, who plays the lead role of Tim with zest and energy. The movie is a celebration of the human spirit and shows how a positive attitude and innovative ideas can bring success even in the face of adversity.
