Take Care of Maya follows the harrowing journey of Jack and Beata Kowalski, who are accused of child abuse after rushing their daughter Maya to the emergency room. Despite explaining that Maya fell down the stairs and was injured accidentally, hospital staff alerts child protective services, setting off a chain of events that will change their lives forever.
As the case moves through the legal system, Jack and Beata struggle to clear their names and prove their innocence while facing scrutiny from friends and family members who doubt them. Meanwhile, Maya is traumatized as she's caught in the middle of a legal battle that she doesn't understand.
