The movie Tainted follows Lance (played by Alan Van Sprang), a former convict who has been released on probation after serving time for a violent crime. Lance has since left his criminal past behind and has been working as a tattoo artist. However, his ties to the Russian mob and the Aryan brotherhood have made it almost impossible for him to distance himself from a life of violence.
Desperate to escape his past and start fresh, Lance has been doing everything in his power to stay clean. He feels that he's finally on the right track when he meets a woman named Elise (played by Sara Waisglass) who encourages him to strive for a better life. But just when things start to look up for Lance, he receives a call from his old Russian mob boss, Boris (played by John Ralston).
Boris blackmails Lance into taking on one last assignment for the Russian mob in exchange for his freedom. Lance has no choice but to comply, and he's soon drawn back into the violent world that he thought he had left behind. As Lance goes deeper into the mission, he discovers that not only is his life in danger, but Elise's life is at stake as well.
Lance is forced to use his skills as a fighter and his knowledge of the criminal underworld to complete the job he was assigned and save Elise from harm. Throughout the course of the movie, Lance must confront his past, navigate dangerous situations, and fight to finally be free from a life of violence. Tainted is a thrilling story of redemption, loyalty, and the struggle to break free from a life that seems impossible to escape.
