Tag is a 2018 American comedy film directed by Jeff Tomsic. It is based on a true story of a group of friends who played a game of tag for 30 years. The group tries to outsmart Jerry by ambushing him at his workplace, at his house, and even at his own wedding. But Jerry, who is a highly skilled strategist, always seems to be one step ahead of the group. The game becomes more and more intense as they come up with creative and absurd ways to tag each other, including hiding in the trunk of a car, using a fire extinguisher to blind someone, and disguising themselves as old women.
Along the way, the group also deals with their personal issues and conflicts, especially between Hoagie and Bob, who are competitive and constantly trying to one-up each other. They also have to deal with the fact that Jerry might be retiring from the game after his wedding.
