Taco Shop is a 2018 comedy film directed by Joaquin Perea. The movie follows the story of A.J. Salazar, the owner of a struggling taco shop in East Los Angeles. One day, while A.J. is working in the kitchen, he accidentally creates a new type of taco that combines classic Mexican flavors with unexpected ingredients. A.J. and his employees realize that they might have just found the secret to saving their business. They create a new menu of eclectic tacos and launch a social media campaign to attract customers.

As the competition between the taco shop and the food truck heats up, A.J. must decide whether to continue playing it safe or take a risk and innovate to save his business. The movie explores themes of competition, creativity, and cultural identity, with a good dose of humor and heart.
