After Griffin sells the valuable baseball card to a collector named Swindle, he discovers that the card was stolen from its rightful owner, former baseball player and recluse, S. Wendell Palomino. Griffin and his friends plan to steal the card back from Swindle to return it to Palomino.
With the help of Ben, Savannah the computer genius, Darren the inventor, and Melissa the actress, they navigate through Swindle's elaborate security measures to get the card back. Along the way, they encounter various obstacles, including a fierce guard dog and a high-tech vault.
However, their plans hit a snag when Swindle catches on to their scheme and retaliates by framing them for stealing a valuable statue from the local museum. To clear their names and expose Swindle's criminal activities, Griffin and his friends must work together to outsmart him and prove their innocence.
In the end, they succeed in returning the baseball card to Palomino and Swindle is arrested for his illegal activities. Griffin learns a valuable lesson about the importance of honesty and teamwork, while also gaining a newfound respect for Palomino and the history behind the baseball card.
