Swelter is a 2014 action-thriller film directed by Keith Parmer and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, Lennie James, and Alfred Molina. The film centers around a group of criminals who pull off a massive casino heist and are forced to flee from the law.
Ten years later, the four escaped convicts - Stillman, Bishop, Cole, and Boyd - reunite to track down their former partner, Parker, who was the mastermind behind the heist and ran off with the spoils. After receiving a tip that Parker is now living in a small desert town called Baker, the group heads there to confront him and get their share of the loot.
However, when they arrive in Baker, they find that Parker is now living as a respected sheriff with no memory of his criminal past. They soon discover that Parker was not only using a fake identity but has also been troubled by nightmares and flashbacks.
As the group gets closer to Parker, they begin to uncover a web of deceit and betrayal involving the local police chief and a notorious drug lord. The group must navigate through the dangerous town to confront Parker and finally get their revenge.
