Sweet Girl is a 2021 action-thriller film directed by Brian Andrew Mendoza and written by Philip Eisner and Gregg Hurwitz. The film features Jason Momoa as Ray, a man who vows to bring justice to the pharmaceutical company responsible for his wife's death, while protecting his daughter Rachel, played by Isabela Merced.
Ray's wife underwent an experimental treatment for cancer, which was manufactured by a powerful pharmaceutical company. However, the treatment failed, and his wife died. Ray blames the company for his wife's death, and he is determined to seek justice for her.
As Ray and Rachel try to piece together what happened to Ray's wife, they become targets of the company's hired assassins. With Rachel's life in danger, Ray must use his skills as a former Army Ranger to protect his daughter and bring the culprits to justice.
Sweet Girl also features outstanding performances from Adria Arjona as the company's CEO and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as a corrupt politician. The film is a thrilling and emotional ride that showcases the lengths a father will go to protect his daughter and a husband's quest for justice.
