The woman, named Sarah, was on her way to start a new life in the west when her stagecoach is attacked by the notorious outlaw, John Miller. In the chaos, Sarah manages to take John hostage with his own gun. She quickly becomes the only thing standing between John and his gang, who vow to do whatever it takes to free him.
As they journey towards the nearest town, Sarah and John develop an unlikely bond as he begins to open up about his troubled past. However, Sarah knows she can't let her guard down, as she is acutely aware that the gang is hot on their trail and will stop at nothing to get John back.
The two of them eventually arrive at a small town where Sarah must navigate through the locals' suspicions and distrust while keeping John in line.
