Supervized is a comedy film directed by Steve Barron. The movie follows the story of four retired superheroes who are living in a nursing home in Ireland. The superheroes are Ray (Tom Berenger), a.k.a. Maximum Justice, Ted (Beau Bridges), a.k.a. Original Meteor Man, Lucy (Fionnula Flanagan), a.k.a. Metal Made Maiden, and Jerry (Louis Gossett Jr.), a.k.a. The Shrinker.
Despite their age, the superheroes cannot get the thrill of being powerful, and they yearn for one last mission to save the world from evil. The opportunity arises when they discover that a former nemesis, a mad scientist named Mr. Nightshade (played by Ned Dennehy), who had escaped from prison, is hatching a nefarious plan.
The four retired superheroes who are now dealing with various health issues and are missing their powers, decide to put their differences aside and come together for one last mission. They also recruit an eager young nurse called Rossie (Emer Reynolds) to be their new sidekick.
They sneak out of the nursing home and embark on a road trip across the country to stop Mr. Nightshade's evil plan. Along the way, they face many physical and emotional challenges, proving that they are still true superheroes at heart.
