Superlopez is a Spanish superhero comedy film directed by Javier Ruiz Caldera and released in 2018. The story follows Juan López, a mild-mannered office worker who is secretly a superhero from the planet Chitón. When his girlfriend Luisa is held captive by his arch-nemesis, the evil alien Skorba, Juan must use his powers to save her and also defend his native planet from the impending invasion.
Juan's powers include the ability to fly, super strength, and X-ray vision, but he struggles to balance his superhero duties with his day job and personal life. His boss, an egotistical and demanding manager, constantly pressures him to work harder and climb the corporate ladder. Meanwhile, Luisa is frustrated with Juan's inability to open up to her about his secrets and fears he is hiding something.
As Juan battles Skorba and his minions, he realizes the true cost of being a superhero and the sacrifices he must make to save the people he loves. Along the way, he also discovers his true identity and role in the fate of Chitón.
Superlopez received positive reviews for its humor, special effects, and homage to classic superhero films. It starred Dani Rovira as Juan López and Julián López as Skorba.
