Super Troopers is a 2001 American comedy film directed by Jay Chandrasekhar and starring the comedy troupe Broken Lizard. The film follows five Vermont state troopers who are constantly up to no good and often high on drugs. The troopers, who are known for their pranks and general lack of professionalism, are on the verge of losing their jobs due to budget cuts.

Desperate to save their jobs, the troopers stumble upon a drug ring that's been operating in their area. They decide to take on the drug dealers themselves and hatch a plan to make a big bust. However, their plan is complicated when a rival police force is sent to the area to take over their investigation and steal the glory.

As the troopers try to prove their worth and outsmart their rivals, they find themselves getting into more and more trouble. Along the way, they encounter a variety of eccentric characters, including a group of stoners and a local mayor who's easily bribed.

The film is known for its raunchy humor, quirky characters, and memorable quotes, such as "Do you boys like Mexico?" and "Meow, I'm gonna have to give you a ticket on this one." It has become a cult classic among fans of comedy and has spawned a sequel, Super Troopers 2, which was released in 2018.
