Captain Canine is the commander of the space ship Megasis, whose mission is to protect the planet Inspiron from the evil alien Commander Drex. When Drex invades Inspiron and captures Princess Jorala and the Five Power Rings, Megasis decides to hide the rings on Earth and takes the form of a German Shepherd named Captain Canine to stay under deep cover.
