Sunset in the West is a 1950 Western movie that stars Roy Rogers as a frontiersman named Roy Rogers. In the movie, Roy Rogers is a federal agent who is assigned to put a stop to the gun smuggling trade that is supplying weapons to hostile Indian tribes.
Roy discovers that the smugglers are using a nearby trading post as a front for their illegal activities. He poses as a buyer and gains the trust of the corrupt store owner, Frank Madden, who is the ringleader of the smuggling operation.
Roy teams up with a local Indian chief, Grey Cloud, to stop the gun runners before they transport their latest shipment of weapons to the Indians. However, they must navigate treacherous terrain and hostile warriors to intercept the shipment.
Along the way, Roy falls in love with a beautiful half-breed woman named Toni Ames, who is a target of the smugglers because of her knowledge of their operation. Together, they must fight against the odds to take down the gun smugglers and save the Indian tribes from being armed for war.
