Summer Night follows the lives of several young adults as they navigate through love, friendship, and self-discovery in a small town. Taking place over the course of a single summer night, the film highlights the challenges and joys of relationships in different stages, from the longstanding couple played by Analeigh Tipton and Justin Chatwin, to the newly budding romance between one of Chatwin's friends and a newcomer to town.
Throughout the night, the characters attend a local music festival, where they interact with each other and other festival goers, leading to unexpected connections and breakups.
Meanwhile, another group of friends are dealing with their own issues, including a struggling musician who must come to terms with the fact that his band may never make it big.
