Sui Dhaaga - Made in India is a 2018 Bollywood movie directed by Sharat Katariya and produced by Maneesh Sharma and Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. The movie stars Varun Dhawan as Mauji and Anushka Sharma as Mamta in lead roles.
The movie revolves around the life of Mauji, who is a skilled tailor but works as a salesman at a sewing machine shop owned by Bansal and his son Prashant. Mauji is often ill-treated by Bansal and Prashant, who make him do fun antics and do not pay him a fair salary. Mauji's wife Mamta encourages him to start his own tailoring business, but Mauji is hesitant as he does not have the necessary financial resources.
However, after facing constant humiliation, Mauji decides to take a chance and starts his own tailoring business. Mamta supports him in his venture and together they work hard to make their business successful. Their determination and hard work pay off as their business grows, and they start receiving orders from all over the city.
Things take a turn when Bansal and Prashant try to sabotage their business by spreading false rumors about the quality of their work. Mauji and Mamta refuse to give up, and they confront Bansal and Prashant and prove them wrong. The movie ends with Mauji and Mamta's successful business and the couple's love for each other.
