Submission is a 2018 drama film directed by Jafar Panahi, starring Lars Eidinger as Arash, a mixed martial arts fighter and former marine who was taken captive and tortured by ISIS in Syria. He returns to the United States with fellow marine, Ali (Mohammad-Ali Behboudi), and struggles with trauma and PTSD.
