Mi-rae is a quiet, introverted girl who is often the target of bullies at school. Her home life is also turbulent, as she suffers physical abuse at the hands of her father. To escape the harsh realities of her life, Mi-rae spends most of her free time playing a computer game in which she can be anyone she wants to be.
One day, two boys in her class, Baek-hap and Tae-yang, begin to take an interest in Mi-rae and become her friends. As they get to know each other better, Mi-rae starts to open up about her feelings and her experiences with bullying and abuse. Baek-hap and Tae-yang are supportive and understanding, and they help Mi-rae to find the strength to stand up for herself.
However, their friendship is threatened when the computer game that Mi-rae loves is shut down, and the world she created in her notebook disappears. Mi-rae feels lost and alone once again, and Baek-hap and Tae-yang struggle to help her find a new way to cope with the difficulties in her life.
Despite the challenges they face, Mi-rae, Baek-hap, and Tae-yang remain determined to support each other and overcome their problems. Through their friendship and perseverance, they show that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for a brighter future.
