Street Trash is a 1987 horror comedy film written and directed by J. Michael Muro. The plot of the movie takes place in Brooklyn, New York and revolves around a group of homeless people, also known as "the bums", who live in a junkyard.

One day, a liquor store owner finds a crate of sixty-year-old expired alcohol and decides to sell it to the homeless community for a dollar per bottle. However, the liquor has an unintended effect on the homeless population as they begin to melt into a bright, neon-colored liquid after consuming it.

Meanwhile, the leader of the homeless community, a former Vietnam War vet named Bronson, begins to lose his grip on reality and starts killing the other bums in the junkyard. Two brothers named Fred and Kevin, who live nearby, witness the chaos caused by the tainted liquor and the murderous Bronson. They set out to stop the madness and save the remaining bums from a gruesome demise.

As the story unfolds, the film blends elements of horror, comedy, and social commentary. Street Trash is known for its over-the-top gore effects and dark humor. It has become a cult classic among fans of horror-comedy movies.
