As Reggie tries to navigate his new life on the streets, he encounters a variety of other strays who have their own unique quirks and outlooks on life. Some are friendly and welcoming, while others are rough around the edges and quick to defend their territory.
As Reggie starts to come out of his shell and embrace his newfound freedom, he also begins to develop feelings for a beautiful female stray named Luna. Together, the two of them explore the city and get into all sorts of adventures, from dumpster diving for food to narrowly avoiding getting caught by animal control.
However, Doug isn't done with Reggie just yet. As it turns out, he abandoned him on the streets in order to collect a hefty insurance payout, and now he's determined to track Reggie down and collect his prize. With Doug and his goons hot on their tails, Reggie and Luna must use all their wits and street smarts to outsmart their former owner and finally find a place they can truly call home. Along the way, they learn the true meaning of friendship, loyalty, and what it really means to be a stray.
