The movie Strange Wilderness follows the story of two animal enthusiasts, Peter and Fred, who host a struggling TV show called "Strange Wilderness." In an attempt to boost ratings, they decide to go on a quest to find Bigfoot, the legendary creature said to inhabit the Andes Mountains.
Joined by a motley crew of misfits, including a stoner cameraman, a wildlife enthusiast, and a bird expert, Peter and Fred set out on a hilarious and absurd adventure to track down the elusive creature. Along the way, they encounter a variety of wild animals, including a runaway zebra, a group of killer birds, and a venomous snake.
As they get closer to finding Bigfoot, the group faces a series of mishaps and misfortunes, including getting lost in the jungle, nearly drowning in a river, and being chased by a pack of angry wolves. Despite the setbacks, Peter and Fred remain determined to capture footage of Bigfoot on camera and save their TV show from cancellation.
In the end, the group discovers that Bigfoot is not quite what they expected, but the footage they capture leads to a viral sensation and saves their show from being cancelled.
