Strange Behavior is a horror movie from 1981, directed by Michael Laughlin. The film is set in the small town of Galesburg, Illinois, where a rash of murders has been occurring. The victims are all teenagers, and they are killed in a gruesome manner.
The protagonist of the film is a teenage boy named Michael (played by Dan Shor). His father was one of the murder victims, and Michael becomes obsessed with finding out who is behind the killings. His investigation leads him to Dr. Le Sange (Arthur Dignam), a scientist who is conducting experiments on teenagers.
Dr. Le Sange has developed a serum that can turn normal teenagers into murderous, mind-controlled zombies. He is using the serum to conduct his own twisted experiments, but when Michael uncovers his activities, Dr. Le Sange decides that Michael must be eliminated.
The film features a mix of horror and science fiction elements, and was praised for its inventive gore effects. It also features a memorable score by Tangerine Dream. Strange Behavior was re-released in 1987 as "Dead Kids," with a new title and a more straightforward horror marketing campaign.
