In the movie, the Mystery Inc. gang travels to Nowhere, Kansas, where they team up with Courage the Cowardly Dog and his owners, Eustice and Muriel. They are on the hunt for a strange object that has caused a disturbance in the town.
As they investigate, they discover that the object is linked to a giant cicada monster and her winged warriors. The gang and Courage must work together to solve the mystery and stop the monster from wreaking havoc on the town.
