"Stormy Monday" is a neo-noir thriller film directed by Mike Figgis and released in 1988. The story is set in Newcastle, England, where an American businessman named Cosmo (played by Tommy Lee Jones) arrives to take over local businesses as part of a shady deal with a corrupt city official.
