Joe Huff is a former football player turned cop, who has a reputation for getting the job done by any means necessary. He is given an ultimatum by the FBI, to either go undercover and infiltrate The Brotherhood, or face charges for police brutality. Joe accepts the offer, aware of the danger involved, but determined to take down the biker gang.
Joe assumes the identity of John Stone, a biker with a criminal record, and quickly gains the trust of The Brotherhood's leader, Chains Cooper (played by Lance Henriksen). Joe's mission is to gather evidence against The Brotherhood and their illegal activities, which include drug trafficking and arms dealing. Along the way, Joe befriends a young biker named Ice (played by William Forsythe), who becomes a key ally in his mission.
As Joe delves deeper into the world of The Brotherhood, he discovers that their reach goes beyond the bikers themselves, and that they have connections to the Mafia and corrupt government officials. Joe must use all his skills and experience to stay undercover, and avoid detection by Chains and his henchmen.
Eventually, Joe's cover is blown, and he is forced to flee for his life. In a thrilling finale, Joe faces off against Chains and his men, and manages to bring down the entire criminal organization. Stone Cold is a gritty action movie, with plenty of violent set pieces, and a standout performance by Brian Bosworth as the tough cop with a dark past.
