Stolen Identity follows the story of Emily, a young woman who has just started working as a temporary employee at a prestigious company. When her boyfriend, David, accidentally leaves his smartphone in a cab, Emily picks it up and finds that it contains some sensitive information related to the company she works for.
Emily decides to return the phone to David, but when she goes to his apartment, she finds him dead. Fearing that the information on the phone might have gotten him killed, she tries to figure out what he was involved in and why someone would want him dead. She looks through the phone and finds that David had been investigating some suspicious activities within the company.
As Emily tries to find the truth, she realizes that she has become a target and that her own life is in danger. She seeks help from the detective who is investigating David's death, and together they dig deeper into the company's secrets. The more they uncover, the more they realize that the company is involved in illegal activities, and that someone is willing to kill to keep the truth from getting out.
Emily and the detective race against time to expose the company's misdoings and bring the culprits to justice, while also trying to stay alive themselves. In the end, they succeed in stopping the company's illegal operations and bringing the perpetrators to justice, but not before facing some close calls and dangerous situations themselves.
