Stir of Echoes: The Homecoming is a 2007 supernatural thriller directed by Ernie Barbarash. The film follows the story of Ted Cogan, a soldier who returns home from the Iraq war to his wife and daughter. However, he begins to experience terrifying visions of the dead, including a young Iraqi girl whom he unknowingly killed during the war.
As Ted struggles to come to terms with his haunting visions, he discovers that his niece, a gifted clairvoyant, might be able to help him unravel the mystery behind his visions. Together, they uncover a dark and sinister plot involving the military and a secret experimental drug that may have unleashed a supernatural force that has returned with Ted from the battlefield.
As Ted's visions become more intense, he realizes that he must confront the source of his haunting and put an end to it before it destroys him and his family. The film features a gripping and suspenseful storyline full of twists and turns, as well as powerful performances from its cast, including Rob Lowe, Marnie McPhail, and Tatiana Maslany.
