Stella's Last Weekend is a heartwarming and comedic portrayal of a family coming together to say goodbye to their beloved dog, Stella. Jack (played by Nat Wolff) and Oliver (played by Alex Wolff), two estranged brothers, reunite at their childhood home for the weekend to be with Stella in her final hours. Despite their differences, the brothers share a deep bond with Stella and reminisce about their childhood memories with her.
As they prepare for Stella's end-of-life ceremony, their mother Sally (played by Polly Draper) plans an eccentric and lively party to celebrate Stella's life. Sally is an eccentric artist who often clashes with her sons, but her love for her family and her dog is undeniable.
The movie takes a comedic turn when the brothers both develop feelings for the same girl, Violet (played by Paulina Singer). Violet is a free-spirited and carefree artist who is fascinated by the eccentric family dynamics and is drawn to both brothers.
As the weekend progresses, tensions rise, and the family's secrets and vulnerabilities come to the surface. Through it all, the family and Violet learn the true meaning of love, loyalty, and acceptance.
