In the movie "Steal My Heart" (also known as "Catch Me"), Lee Ho-tae, a quirky and passionate detective, reunites with his first love, Yoon Jin-sook, ten years after their separation. However, their reunion takes an unexpected turn when Ho-tae discovers that Jin-sook is now a notorious hit-and-runner.
Despite the shocking revelation, Ho-tae cannot resist his lingering feelings for Jin-sook and decides to use his detective skills to try and catch her in the act. He takes on the challenge of pursuing Jin-sook while also investigating various hit-and-run cases. Along the way, comedic situations arise as Ho-tae tries to balance his personal feelings and his duties as a detective.
As Ho-tae gets closer to Jin-sook, he begins to unravel a complicated web of secrets surrounding her, leading him to question her true motives. Faced with conflicting emotions and a growing attraction, Ho-tae must decide whether to choose love or loyalty, while also solving the mystery behind the hit-and-run incidents.
Throughout the film, viewers are taken on a suspenseful and romantic rollercoaster ride, filled with witty banter, unexpected twists, and heartwarming moments. As the story unfolds, Ho-tae and Jin-sook confront their past, confront their own flaws, and ultimately discover the true meaning of love and forgiveness.
