Stay Tuned is a 1992 comedy film directed by Peter Hyams and starring John Ritter and Pam Dawber. The film follows the Knables, a happily married couple who live a mundane life, and Roy, a TV addict who spends most of his time watching television. Roy is dissatisfied with his job as a salesman and is always dreaming of finding a way to escape his dull life.

One day, Roy encounters Spike, a sleazy TV salesman, who convinces him to buy a satellite dish that provides access to 666 channels. Roy eagerly agrees, unaware that the dish is actually a portal to Hellvision, a parallel universe where Spike, who is a minion of Satan, has set up a diabolical TV network.

Once the Knables are sucked into Hellvision, they find themselves trapped in a sequence of nightmarish parodies of popular TV programs, with dangerous twists and sinister turns. They must survive various hazardous challenges on shows like Wayne's Underworld, The Prisoner of Second Avenue, Three Men and Rosemary's Baby, and Duane's Underworld.

As they try to find their way back home, the married couple has to confront their own issues while foiling the diabolical plans of Satan's henchmen. The film offers a hilarious, satirical take on our obsession with television, as well as a fun blend of horror, sci-fi, and comedy that keeps the audience engaged and entertained.
